Each and every employee would like to work in a calm, respectable, and appreciable environments. Most of the time, it is found that the reason for employees to turnover their job is the rudeness of their bosses. For those handling with employee destruction and retention issues, there are some reasons into why people quit. In an online poll conducted by Yellojobs.com, a referral recruitment network, 42 per cent of the respondents said they changed jobs due to “bad” superiors. Of the 10,000 job seekers who took part in the survey, 34 per cent said they could not continue in their jobs as their organization could not provide any further forecasts for development and compensation.download (5)

Employees  are  the  most  valuable  asset  of  the organisation. Without employees, no way to achieve goals and targets.  They are vehicles that drive the organisation and also one of the main challenges  facing by  human  resources department of  most organisations  (M. a. Kossivi).  Managing  and  retaining  skilled employees  is  really  important  for  an  organisation  to achieve  success  because  employees’  skills  and knowledge is the prerequisite for organisations to gain competitive advantage  (Hiltrop),1991.

Nowadays, many organisations are concerned with Furthermore, organizations today,  are much  concerned with assuring the workplace is  free of violence. Then only the bosses can lead the employees for overall success of the company. (Economics And Social Sciences Academic Journal),2020.

Despite the $15 billion companies spend annually on managerial and leadership development, bad bosses are common in the American workforce.  A study by Life Meets Work found that 56% of American workers claim their boss is mildly or highly toxic. A study by the American Psychological Association found that 75% of Americans say their “boss is the most stressful part of their workday.”(Abbaja),2018

Bad bosses can be a serious issue. But quitting is not an immediate option, there are some general approaches that can help you manage the situation.

  1. Employee turnover can be defined as the rate of movement of employees in and out of the organizations. Supervisory style plays a significant role in shaping employee turnover(Armstrong, 2006).
    Author has explained the adverse link between the Employee turnover and the discourteous bosses. Rude bosses are ridiculing workers, let them down in front of others, accusing them of incompetence, blaming them, lying to them, or not giving them credit for their work(Moss, 2016).
    My point of view is in this present scenario bosses should treat employees with kindness and tact. Value and respect them. Should make requests not demands.
